CarTruvo connects buyers and sellers. Listing review and account access do not verify every claim or guarantee a safe transaction. Use these checkpoints before releasing money, documents, or the car.
Keep a record of the agreed next steps
Use your account’s sale workspace for your own checklist and offer notes. Do not store banking credentials, copies of identification, or full home addresses there. Progress checks are self-reported reminders, not CarTruvo verification.
Report a concerning listing or conversation
Email [email protected] with the listing URL and a brief description. Avoid sending sensitive documents. CarTruvo can review marketplace activity; contact your bank promptly if money has been sent and use ReportFraud.ftc.gov to report suspected fraud. For immediate danger, contact emergency services.
Understand what CarTruvo provides
Private vehicle payments, escrow, inspection certification, and shipping booking are not provided by this pilot. Buyers and sellers arrange the transaction and verify any outside service independently. Read the marketplace terms.
